Each year, only 8 references have the honor of being the flagship of the Rioja appellation inside and outside our borders.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The plenary session of the Rioja Control Board has selected the wines that will represent the Appellation at its institutional events<\/strong> throughout this year, and we are very pleased to know that in the Gran Reserva category<\/a><\/strong>, our Conde Valdemar Gran Reserva 2015<\/a><\/strong> has been chosen as ambassador of this category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In total, 203 wines from 61 DOCa wineries participated in the blind tasting to select the 8 institutional references that the Control Board will use for its events this year, which show the great diversity of the wine scene in the Rioja Qualified Designation of Origin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If there is any wine that best shows our history, our way of valuing Rioja wines, it is our Conde Valdemar Gran Reserva.<\/a><\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n
